alf -century of experience, our staff has both the expertise and knowledge t=
o meet our customers needs and concerns. What started out as a hobby while j=
ust a teenager, has become one of Victoria's finest retailers for over-land =
and marine electronics. Our technicians, if we may say so, are exemplary. Bo=
b himself has over 30 years experience in this field. Our sales staff listen=
 to customers and are not hard sell, preferring to address the customers nee=
ds.=0D=0AWe are the only company in Victoria that deals with both 2-way mobi=
le systems (land) and a full line of marine electronics. RoTec also owns thr=
ee repeater systems that we rent airtime to local companies so they can keep=
 in radio contact with their vehicles and employees.=0D=0AWe do business wit=
h the Royal Canadian Navy, RCMP , Department of Fisheries and many local mun=
icipalities to just to name a few. We have just finished our fourth contract=
 with the Department of National Defense to supply radar arches (Bobs R&D), =
with integrated electronics systems installed, for their Rigid Hulled Inflat=
able Boats (RHIB). To date, thirty-eight of these units are spread across Ca=
nada. Some were used in the recovery of the Swiss Air disaster off Peggy's C=
ove a few years ago, while others were used in East Timor recently. Santa Cl=
ause has even been known to use one at Christmas to tour the Victoria Inner =
Harbour!=0D=0A
